A 10-minute guide from sign-up to running your first test.

Steps

1. Sign up — create an account with email or GitHub
2. Create a project — set up your first project in the dashboard
3. Create a test spec — define the scope of what you want to test
4. Create an MCP access token — generate a token for your AI agent
5. Install KATATAN AI agent — connect your AI coding assistant via MCP
6. Create test cases — let the AI generate test cases from your spec
7. Run tests — execute test cases and record results

TIP The Free plan (up to 10 specs and 100 test cases) is enough to complete this guide.
